Join our EUSEW session: Accelerating clean energy transition with project chains

Our interactive online event on 13 October 2021 (9:00- 10:30 CEST), part of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), will kick-off an informal network of funding initiatives and programmes for the joint acceleration of the clean energy transition from the technological development to market design, testing and adoption.

Accelerating clean energy transition implementation with project chains

How can we ensure that project-developed clean energy technologies can be brought to the market and adopted?

How can we ensure that cities and regions as well as companies access these promising technologies?

These are the major questions that will be tackled during the event. This session will kick-off an informal network of funding initiatives and programmes for the joint acceleration of the clean energy transition from the technological development to market design, testing and adoption.

The network will gather partners from the RDI programmes (e.g. Joint Programming Platform Smart Energy Systems, and others ERA-Net or research programmes), from European territorial cooperation (Interreg Central Europe and possibly other Interreg programmes) and other funding instruments (e.g. EU innovation fund from the EIB) willing to cooperate to allow "project chains”.

Project Chains can be defined as a succession of projects addressing the same challenge from technology development to implementation and adoption. They provide streamlined funding opportunities for EU projects partners.
